Position Overview

Client is embarking on a global finance transformation to modernize its system of record, financial account structures, and reporting standards. We are seeking an accomplished Global Controller Consultant to play a pivotal role in driving this change. This 18‑month contract position partners closely with Finance, Accounting, Services, Product, and Enterprise Systems teams to ensure a seamless transition and deliver measurable improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. The role requires onsite in Chandler, AZ.

What you will work on

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and maintain accuracy in financial reporting.
• Collaborate across multiple time zones to ensure consistent global execution.
• Analyze income statement and balance sheet fluctuations to identify trends and variances.
• Interpret financial statement data to uncover opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with ERP and system implementation teams to align accounting processes with new technology.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to streamline close and reporting cycles.
• Champion automation and efficiency in financial operations.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and explanations.

What you will bring

• CPA, highly preferred.
• Public accounting experience (Big Four strongly preferred).
• Experience with international close and consolidation, preferred.
• Background in the technology or software industry, preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in accounting/finance, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, general ledger accounting, and consolidation.
• Experience with Sarbanes‑Oxley 404 compliance.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
• Proven leadership ability to guide, motivate, and develop teams.
• Strategic thinker with superior problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
