As a Finance Transformation Project Management Consultant, you will provide end-to-end project management of global finance transformation initiatives spanning process re-engineering, automation, and technology enablement. Acting as a key liaison across Finance & Controllership, Engineering, Technology, and external partners, you will align systems, processes, controls, and reporting with enterprise goals, while managing workstreams, risks, dependencies, and delivery against scope, budget, and timelines.
What you will work on
- Lead global finance
transformation initiatives, including process re-engineering, digital
enablement (ERP upgrades, automation, RPA, AI-enabled solutions). Partner
with key functional leaders to understand their objectives, technology
roadmaps, and process changes aligning execution with business objectives
and technology roadmaps. - Develop and manage
comprehensive project plans, including scope, milestones, dependencies,
resources, risks, and deliverables, ensuring projects remain on track and
aligned to organizational priorities. Establish appropriate project
governance, sponsorship, and stakeholder alignment around project
objectives, scope, solution, budget, and timelines. - Day to day ownership of
project delivery, proactively building trusted working relationships with
finance functional leaders, business leaders, engineering and technology
partners to drive alignment, increase collaboration and optimize project
operations. - Identify risks, dependencies
and issues across the project. Develop mitigation strategies and
coordinate mitigation actions to meet the broader organization goals,
milestones and objectives. - Clearly communicate project
strategy, updates, escalation of risks/issues to project stakeholders,
levels of management, including executive leadership teams across the
finance organization. - Establish and facilitate
effective operating cadences, including project team meetings, status
reviews, and governance forums, to maintain momentum and accelerate
execution - Leverage
data and performance insights to measure outcomes, identify opportunities,
and demonstrate the business impact of transformation initiatives.
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in
Business, Finance, Accounting or related field. MBA preferred. - 10–15+ years of project or
program management experience leading enterprise-scale finance and/or
business process transformation initiatives in a global, cross-functional
environment. PM certification is an advantage - Experience in technology
(SaaS, software, collaboration/ social platforms) is required. - Proven experience leading
complex transformation initiatives involving process optimization,
technology implementations, automation, ERP, RPA, and/or AI-enabled
solutions. - Strong understanding of
project and program management methodologies, including planning,
execution, governance, and full project lifecycle management. - Exceptional stakeholder
management, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to
build alignment and drive decisions across senior leaders and
cross-functional teams. - Strong business acumen with
demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, navigate shifting priorities,
and effectively manage risks, issues, and interdependencies. - Highly organized,
detail-oriented, and solutions-focused, with a strong track record of
delivering against timelines and project objectives. - Demonstrated ability to lead
through influence, build credibility, and operate effectively without
direct authority across multiple teams and global locations. - Ability to operate
autonomously while managing multiple priorities, applying strong critical
thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong leadership presence
and ability to effectively engage stakeholders and partners at all levels,
including executive leadership. - Results-oriented
mindset with a high degree of ownership, accountability, and urgency to
drive initiatives through completion.
