Zusammenfassung

Kontoor Brands is seeking a Controller of Accounting and Reporting to oversee global accounting, consolidation, and SEC reporting. You will lead the Corporate Accounting & Reporting team, drive policy implementation, and coordinate with external auditors and cross-functional leaders.

The role supports acquisitions, dispositions, and sustainability reporting, and manages US benefit plan reporting. Travel and extended hours during critical deadlines are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 15 years of cumulative experience in accounting/financial reporting at a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm or a US publicly traded company
• Knowledge of and experience with US GAAP, SEC and SOX reporting requirements
• Progressively responsible accounting leadership experience with exposure to consumer goods/apparel industry
• Experience with global business and accounting operations

Aufgaben

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including consolidation and internal reporting
• Lead SEC filings and disclosure reviews, SOX control execution, and coordination with other departments
• Lead technical accounting research and implementation of new standards, plus global policy governance
• Coordinate external audit procedures for global consolidated statements and liaise with cross-functional teams across the business
