Job summary

Cambium, a rapid-growth materials leader, seeks a senior accounting leader to build the finance function, own the U.S. GAAP close, and consolidate global entities. You will partner with an outsourced firm initially, scale the team, and drive ERP selection and integration across the organization.

Reporting to the CFO, you will design controls, manage audits, and oversee tax compliance while enabling rapid growth and a formal reporting discipline for external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• CPA required with active license preferred.
• Public company experience and SOX controls design desirable.
• Proven ability to build and lead a multi-entity accounting function.
• Experience with ERP selection, implementation, and cutover.
• Demonstrated M&A integration and opening balance work.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead Cambium’s accounting organization for U.S. GAAP.
• Own month/quarter/year-end close and consolidation across entities.
• Design IT controls and document accounting policies (ASC 606, 805, 842).
• Oversee external audit, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Drive ERP implementation, data mapping, and post-close integration.
