Evapco is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support contracts and commercial transactions across North America, Europe, Asia, and beyond. The role reports to the General Counsel and focuses on drafting, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of agreements to protect the company’s interests.

The successful candidate will have JD, Maryland bar, and 3+ years of experience, with strong writing, analytical, and teamwork skills; this is an in-person role at Evapco’s Global Headquarters in Taneytown,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of legal experience in contracts or commercial law.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Juris doctor from an accredited law school and bar membership in Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer, vendor, supply, and other commercial agreements.
• Advise on contract risk, terms, liability, and dispute avoidance aligned with Evapco’s objectives.
• Improve contract templates, playbooks, and contracting workflows.
• Pursue legal claims and manage disputes; negotiate change orders.
