Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Sr Manager, Procurement External Manufacturing to lead end-to-end external contract manufacturing sourcing across a dynamic global network.

You will drive strategic supplier growth, cost planning, and competitive bidding, collaborating with cross-functional teams to audit contractors, negotiate terms, and advance innovation programs that impact global supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of supply chain manufacturing or procurement experience leading external/contract manufacturing agreements.
• Experience in RFIs/RFPs with strong data analysis skills.
• Hands-on experience using SAP or similar ERP.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Governance: lead end-to-end contract manufacturer selection, risk assessments, and NDAs.
• Supplier Relationship & Operational Oversight: manage relationships, KPI reviews, and planning system integration.
• Commercial Strategy & Financial Administration: align sourcing with budgets and resolve invoicing/issues with Accounting.
• Cost Planning & Savings: drive growth funding, future cost planning, and process improvements to reduce obsolescence.
• Quality Compliance & Asset Controls: ensure supplier tracking standards and conduct supplier risk assessments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Industry Leadership: coordinate with stakeholders and participate in benchmarking forums.
