Job summary

Disney Cruise Line - The Walt Disney Company seeks a proactive Localization Manager for the Distribution Operations team. Based in Glendale, CA, you will oversee artwork and metadata localization workstreams, liaise with vendors, and coordinate with global teams to ensure on-time delivery for Disney Streaming Worldwide.

The role requires strong project management, liaison with multiple departments, and a focus on process optimization, SOP creation, and metrics development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in managing content localization workflow.
• Minimum 3 years project management experience in localization.
• Extensive knowledge of localization workflows in the entertainment industry.
• International Territory/Market experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent 5+ years work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage content localization workstreams for artwork and metadata.
• Validate and certify readiness, liaising with vendors, supporting the workstream through project management and asset prep facilitation.
• Effectively communicate project and title level updates cross-functionally and with internal/external partners.
• Collaborate with internal product and platform technology teams to ensure required delivery systems are supported.
• Creation or adjustment of departmental SOPs.
• Financial responsibility for invoice validation and submission.
• Develop statistical metrics for Senior Management to analyze information.
• Provide timely feedback to Manager on perceived delays or challenges to delivery deadlines.
• Identify patterns to facilitate resolution of complex problems.
• Apply creative and practical solutions for problem solving.
