Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Staff Construction Category Analyst to lead global cost analytics and should-cost modeling for major semiconductor capital projects. You will influence sourcing strategy by evaluating bids, risks, and cost drivers across regions and packages.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Construction, and Operations to standardize tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks while advancing cost governance and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years in cost management/controls, cost modeling, sophisticated analytics, and commercial bid analytics in global construction capital projects.
• Proven expertise in bid assessment and delivery approaches (Cost Plus, GMP, Lump Sum, Unit-Rate/SOV, T&M).
• Experience with analytics platforms (Tableau, Power BI) and ERP/project management systems (SAP, Ariba, Procore).

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic analytics for global construction and semiconductor infrastructure packages.
• Support sourcing across Cost Plus, GMP, Lump Sum, Unit-Rate/SOV, and T&M with cost analyses and risk assessment.
• Develop should-cost and clean-sheet models for fab, cleanroom, and process utilities.
• Build benchmarking baselines and track cost performance across programs.
• Prepare dashboards, risk heatmaps, and scenario analyses with Excel/Power BI.
• Ensure data integrity of cost, benchmarking, bids, and supplier datasets.
