Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho seeks a Staff Construction Category Analyst to lead worldwide construction cost assessment, should-cost modeling, risk evaluation, and cost forecasting for large semiconductor capital programs.

You will provide data-driven sourcing advice, standardize tools and reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless delivery of strategic projects across global sites.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5-7 years in cost management/controls, cost modeling, analytics and bid analytics in global construction capital projects.
• Expertise in bid assessment and delivery approaches (Cost Plus, GMP, Lump Sum, Unit-Rate/SOV, T&M).
• Experience with analytics platforms (Tableau, Power BI) and ERP/project management systems (SAP, Ariba, Procore).

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive bid analytics for global construction and semiconductor infrastructure packages.
• Develop and maintain should-cost and clean-sheet models for fab, cleanroom, chemical building, and process utilities.
• Analyze cost drivers, prepare reports and dashboards, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Track cost performance and ensure data integrity across workstreams and projects.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Construction, Finance, and Operations to improve cost governance.
