Job summary

Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Congress Operations to lead end-to-end planning for medical and scientific congresses.

You will own objectives, timelines, budgets, and vendor management while ensuring high-quality onsite experiences across US and international events. You will partner with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Sales, Communications, and Legal/Compliance to align science, storytelling, and patient mission in a compliant, high-impact manner.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading events or congresses in life sciences, biotech, healthcare, or a similarly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the congress portfolio from planning to onsite execution across medical and scientific congresses and meetings in the US and abroad.
• Drive cross-functional execution with internal stakeholders to meet timelines and success metrics.
• Manage the Meeting Planner, setting priorities, ownership, and onsite coverage.
• Lead vendor relationships (meeting management, exhibits, A/V, freight, housing/registration) and monitor spend against plan.
• Oversee staffing, materials, logistics, and real-time troubleshooting for seamless onsite experiences.
• Capture performance feedback and implement improvements for future events.
• Ensure compliance with PhRMA Code, Sunshine Act/Open Payments, and fair-market-value requirements.
