Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer, Structural Systems to lead structural engineering activities for major product development programs and support structural integrity across product platforms.

The role focuses on advanced design, analysis, validation, and implementation to meet performance, cost, manufacturability, and regulatory requirements. A senior technical contributor will mentor engineers and coordinate with global teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering; PE license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering activities for major product development and enhancement projects.
• Establish design criteria, analysis approaches, and validation plans to ensure structural integrity.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to implement cost-effective structural solutions.
• Perform and direct structural analyses for wind, seismic, transportation, installation, and operation loads.
• Review and approve calculations, drawings, and specifications; sign/stamp as required.
• Define test programs and evaluate results to improve designs and reliability.
• Support standardization of structural methods, tools, and practices across projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve structural design practices and efficiency.
• Assist in product cost reduction, quality improvement, and manufacturing optimization.
