Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Paralegal to support the Professional Standards group, focusing on corporate compliance, recordkeeping, and attorney licensing across jurisdictions.

You will work closely with Claims, Compliance Counsel, and internal teams to ensure strong governance and regulatory adherence in a deadline-driven environment, handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
• Four or more years of experience in paralegal, corporate legal support, compliance, or professional responsibility roles.
• Law firm experience in professional standards, risk management, or corporate legal environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate entity maintenance and compliance across U.S. and international jurisdictions.
• Coordinate filings, deadlines, registered agent work, and corporate records to keep entities in good standing.
• Prepare and maintain governance documents, resolutions, amendments, and formation records.
• Conduct corporate research, due diligence, and compliance reviews for firm initiatives and transactions.
• Support attorney departures by coordinating compliance activities and maintaining confidential records.
• Manage attorney licensing, renewals, registrations, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare compliance reports and provide accurate information to the internal legal team and leadership.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to keep records accurate and resolve compliance matters.
