Job summary

DOF is seeking a proactive Group Head of Compliance to strengthen and lead the global compliance framework across our maritime and offshore organisation. The role partners with Legal, regional management and corporate functions to manage risk and drive responsible business practices.

You will develop standards, oversee risk assessments, due diligence, and sanctions compliance while mentoring teams to ensure consistent, compliant operations across regions.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written and oral communication.
• Experience leading compliance in complex international organisations.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical, scalable processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the global compliance framework, policies and procedures.
• Set group-wide standards and drive consistency across regions and functions.
• Lead risk assessments, due diligence and KYC processes.
• Oversee sanctions and export control compliance.
• Manage investigations and follow-up of reports of potential breaches.
• Provide guidance and training to strengthen business-wide compliance practices.
• Monitor regulatory developments and report to management.
