Job summary

DOF invites applications for a Surveyor - Grade I to join our Survey and Positioning Team in Houston, Texas. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining survey standards during offshore operations, setting up and operating survey equipment, logging data, and ensuring quality control.

Candidates should have a degree in Surveying/Geomatics or equivalent, about 12 months offshore experience (including 120 days offshore as Grade II), and relevant offshore medical and survival certificates.

Qualifications

• Degree in Surveying/Geomatics or equivalent.
• Nominally 12 months experience, including 120 offshore operational days as a Surveyor Grade II.
• Appropriate offshore medical and offshore survival certificates.

Responsibilities

• Set up and test online navigation and data logging systems.
• Run the daily operation of on-line systems.
• Maintain survey quality records (including daily logbook).
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Assist Senior Surveyor or Party Chief and work unsupervised on shifts.
