Job summary

3M is seeking a Compliance Investigator to lead internal compliance investigations from start to finish at the Maplewood, MN site. You will gather facts, assess applicable policies, and document findings with rigor, reporting to the Global Ethics & Compliance leadership or external counsel.

You will collaborate with HR, Global Security and Audit, interview witnesses, and develop investigation plans while working on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Seven (7) years of investigation experience in a variety of environments
• Juris Doctorate from ABA-accredited law school (completed and verified prior to start)
• Certified Fraud Examiner (optional)

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal compliance investigations from initiation to resolution.
• Gather facts, apply policies, and document findings concisely and defensibly.
• Interview concerned parties, witnesses, and persons of interest; collect and review evidence.
• Identify risks and recommend mitigations to address those risks.
• Collaborate with HR, Global Security, and Audit.
