3M is hiring an Environmental Compliance Manager for Cottage Grove, MN, onsite four days a week. The role leads environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives, guiding projects, tracking obligations, and driving site performance. Travel up to 10% may be required.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in environmental/EHS, leadership experience, and expertise in regulatory regimes and environmental management systems. Relocation and comprehensive benefits may be available.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, science, or another EHS discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
• Three (3) years of environmental or EHS experience in private, public, government or military environment
• Three (3) years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment with understanding of environmental compliance regulations, monitoring, reporting and EMS
• One (1) year of leadership or supervisory experience leading a team

Aufgaben

• Providing environmental compliance and sustainability leadership and direction in consultation with Cottage Grove location leadership teams
• Leading projects and teams to ensure compliance with environmental requirements, including tracking obligations, investigations, and closure of action plans
• Setting short and long-term strategic direction, site environmental priorities, and assigning resources
• Managing to site performance targets, coaching and leading salaried and hourly employees
• Elevating and supporting site environmental culture through expanded standard work, engagement, mentoring and coaching
• Ensuring compliance with applicable standards and 3M environmental expectations
• Willingness to be on-call
