Job summary

Halliburton is seeking a Senior Compliance Counsel in Houston, TX to join the Global Ethics & Compliance team. You will advise on complex legal issues related to compliance and investigations, reporting to the Western Hemisphere Compliance Manager or Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer.

Responsibilities include leading investigations, reviewing COBC policies, and advising on risk assessments and process improvements; travel internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in the US and hold a J.D. or LL.M.
• 5+ years of legal experience in compliance
• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred
• Willing to travel internationally
• Spanish and/or Arabic language skills; cross-border experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Oversee COBC and compliance policy investigations
• Conduct internal investigations, formulate strategies, analyze evidence
• Participate in compliance reviews and risk assessments
• Evaluate and recommend process improvements to drive compliance
• Assist with special projects and legal initiatives

Skills
