Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Manager, Global Compensation to design and manage our compensation programs globally, ensuring competitiveness and internal equity. You will lead benchmarking, salary surveys, and governance across a fast-paced, evolving environment.

You will collaborate with HR, finance, and business leaders to address offers, promotions, and policy changes, including stock-based compensation disclosures and compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master's or CCP a plus).
• 5-8 years of progressive experience in compensation analysis, administration, or consulting; global compensation expertise preferred.
• Knowledge of stock-based compensation in a public company and related compliance a plus.
• Strong analytical and data management skills, including advanced Excel and compensation analytics tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• High integrity in handling confidential information and data accuracy.
• Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday Advanced Compensation) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage comprehensive compensation programs and processes including annual planning, global career framework, job evaluations, salary structures, incentive plans, and rewards programs.
• Conduct benchmarking and market analysis; lead global salary survey participation and analyze trends to inform program enhancements.
• Serve as SME to HRBPs and leaders on offers, promotions, evaluations, and best practices; resolve complex compensation queries.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditing teams for accurate reporting and governance, including stock-based compensation disclosures.
• Develop training materials and communications to educate managers and HR teams on policies and updates.
• Support stock-based compensation programs (options, RSUs, PSUs) ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance.
