Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Compensation Programs Senior Analyst in San Mateo, CA to run cyclical compensation cycles, drive automation and process improvements, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership. You will re-engineer compensation programs and systems, and own data analyses.

The role reports to the Director of Compensation Programs, Operations and Systems and is based in a hybrid setup in San Mateo.

Qualifications

6+ years in technology industry, compensation, consulting, finance or related field.
At least 5 years progressive HR and compensation experience with increasing responsibilities.
Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, with analytics and automated models.
Knowledge of compensation industry trends and developments.
Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong project management, organizational and communication skills.
Working knowledge of Workday.
Experience with SQL, Python, Tableau and BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, design, planning and project management of compensation programs, policies and processes.
Lead development and implementation of global compensation programs, especially bi-annual cycles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify processes or capabilities for automation and optimization.
Implement compensation systems to support cyclical compensation cycles.
Create materials to communicate strategic priorities and findings to senior management.
Develop and refine Excel models for compensation analysis and inform business decisions.
Build and maintain reports, dashboards and metrics, ensuring data integrity.
