Job summary
Evonik Corporation seeks a Compensation Partner in Piscataway, NJ to administer compensation programs aligned with company strategy. The role leads annual salary planning, short/long-term incentives, and global pay harmonization across US, Canada, Costa Rica and Mexico, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s in HR/Finance/Business Admin, 5+ years in compensation, and mastery of Workday and benchmarking data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- 5 years of broad-based compensation experience.
- Experience designing sales incentive and variable pay programs.
- Proficiency with Workday, Workday Advanced Compensation module and ADP.
- Strong benchmarking, salary structure development, and data analysis skills.
- Korn Ferry Hay methodology for grading/evaluating positions.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-country environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer compensation programs supporting strategic goals.
- Lead annual salary planning and incentive programs.
- Advise HR Partners and business leaders on compensation issues.
- Analyze compensation programs and propose improvements.
- Prepare compensation reports and documentation for projects.
- Harmonize pay practices across business units.
- Maintain alignment with Global compensation functions and external regulations.
