Job summary

Cognite - AI for Industry is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Director to own global compensation strategy, governance, and execution. You will lead equity, annual bonuses, and long-term incentives while partnering with Finance, HRBP, and executive leadership to align compensation with Cognite’s growth and business objectives.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in compensation/Total Rewards in a high-growth tech/SaaS environment, with international multi-geography experience and board-level

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in Compensation/Total Rewards or related disciplines with global scope and leadership of programs.
• Expertise in international compensation practices including executive pay and incentive design.
• Experience designing and governing compensation frameworks across multiple geographies with pay transparency compliance.
• Experience advising at C-suite or Board level in a high-growth tech/SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

• Own global compensation strategy, architecture, and governance across base salary, bonus, equity, and long-term incentives.
• Design and refine annual bonus structures and incentive frameworks for different populations.
• Lead end-to-end execution of global compensation programs, including annual reviews, bonuses, equity planning, and promotions.
• Partner with HRBP, Finance, and executive leadership to align compensation with business strategy and headcount budgets.
• Provide data-driven insights on market positioning, pay equity, and incentive effectiveness.
