Job summary

Effectief Altruisme seeks a Program & Community Manager to build and grow a global network of women and nonbinary individuals in AI safety, ethics, and governance. The role leads chapters, plans events, and drives mentorship initiatives.

You will manage budgets, logistics, and communications across Slack, newsletters, and social channels, onboarding new chapter leads and expanding engagement. This position emphasizes scalable impact and collaboration across international teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in program or community management.
• Experience running international chapters.
• Experience planning conferences and events.
• Experience onboarding chapter leads and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Run seven international chapters, manage budgets and logistics, and onboard new chapter leads.
• Lead planning of a global conference for 150 members.
• Launch a pilot mentorship program from scratch.
• Manage member communications across Slack, newsletter, LinkedIn, and identify new engagement channels.
