Job summary

adaption is seeking a community lead to shape developer engagement and ecosystems around AI. You will build spaces (Discord, forums), run ambassador programs, and organize events to expand adoption and collaboration with researchers, developers, and enterprises.

You will partner with technical and marketing teams to ensure feedback loops, scale operations, and maintain strong relationships with community members globally.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a community lead or startup ops role with a track record engaging technical users.
• Strong operations instincts; able to scale processes and drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent written communication and experience engaging communities on socials.
• Proven experience organizing developer events end-to-end, from meetups to hackathons.
• Genuine empathy for developers and curiosity about what they're building; people-focused.

Responsibilities

• Establish our strategy for supporting developers, researchers and enterprises seeking more control over AI.
• Build and maintain developer spaces (Discord, forums); capture feedback and convert to actionable issues.
• Develop and run the ambassador program from recruiting to providing resources and support.
• Organize meetups, hackathons, office hours and streams to introduce Adaption to new audiences.
• Collaborate with universities, accelerators, and open-source communities to co-host events.
• Spotlight user projects and case studies; design partner showcases.
• Build scalable automations and systems for community operations.
• Work with technical and marketing teams on cross-functional projects and feedback loops.
• Keep long-term connections with community members and map ongoing collaborations.
