FAR.AI is seeking a Community Lead to close gaps in the global AI safety community. You will shape FAR.AI's community strategy, build key relationships across researchers, policymakers, and industry, and turn engagements into lasting collaborations.

You will manage FAR.Labs and the Community Manager, coordinate with Futures and Research teams, and drive programs in the Bay Area and beyond. Location: Berkeley, CA; full-time with travel as needed.

Formación

• Must have demonstrated ability to build communities or networks.
• Strong relationships and credibility within the AI safety field.
• Experience leading teams and setting strategic priorities.
• Excellent communication and synthesis of field insights.
• Willingness to spend meaningful time in Berkeley with some travel.

Responsabilidades

• Set and own FAR.AI’s community strategy and priorities.
• Build relationships with researchers, practitioners, and policymakers across geographies.
• Develop sustained engagement beyond events and turn connections into collaborations.
• Lead programming portfolio and manage the Community Manager and local staff.
• Represent FAR.AI at conferences and ensure value from community activities.
