Job summary

You will develop global strategies, negotiate long-term contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and total cost of ownership optimization. This role requires strong analytics, cross-functional leadership, and 20% travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management required; an associate degree with relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum of six years' progressive strategic sourcing and category management experience, preferably in defense/aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of strategic-sourcing processes, supplier negotiations, and cost modeling.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead category management with global market analysis and cost-saving objectives.
• Perform supplier analyses and RFx activities; manage supplier relationships.
• Develop global sourcing strategies to improve price, quality, and delivery.
• Support NPI programs by coordinating sourcing and supplier qualification.
• Drive 5% YoY net-cost reductions within assigned categories.
