Job summary

MTI Motion, based in Pleasant Prairie, WI, seeks a Commodity Manager to lead global category sourcing and supplier relationships. You will drive cost reductions, manage supplier performance, and support NPI programs across multiple facilities and markets.

The role requires deep experience in strategic sourcing, category management, and contract negotiations, with the ability to optimize total cost of ownership and delivery. Travel to MTI facilities worldwide may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent with related experience.
• Minimum six years in strategic sourcing/category management and supply chain roles.
• Experience with ITAR/EAR or regulated supply chains preferred.
• Proven ability to negotiate long-term contracts with favorable terms.

Responsibilities

• Category Management: develop global strategies with cost savings and SLAs.
• Sourcing Management: analyze spend, assess suppliers, consolidate spend globally.
• Project Management: guide NPI supplier qualification and coordinate global sourcing efforts.
• Deliver 5% YoY net-cost reductions for assigned categories.
• Manage supplier relationships, RFIs/RFPs, and capacity evaluations.
