Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Commodity Sourcing Leader to drive global sourcing strategy, manage supplier relationships, and optimize cost across the site and P&L. You will work with global commodity leaders to maximize value, negotiate contracts, and lead cross-functional teams with engineering, finance, and operations.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in Sourcing or related fields, strong data analysis, and proven leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in Sourcing, Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering, and/or Supply Chain.
• MBA or advanced finance/engineering education preferred.
• Leadership program experience (OMLP, FMP, CAS).
• Strong quantitative and data analysis, plus project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategy with global commodity leaders to achieve cost productivity and cash flow goals.
• Lead supplier selection, qualification, development, and contract life cycle management from RFP to exit.
• Coordinate with engineering on program schedules, cost optimization, and resource allocation.
