Job summary

Hubble Network seeks a Global Commodity Manager to lead sourcing strategy for PCB/A, FPGA, and related electronics across our satellite and terrestrial networks. You will partner with hardware, firmware, and software teams to translate strategy into actionable plans.

This hands-on role requires strong communication, first principles thinking, and the ability to manage a multi‑supplier portfolio while traveling up to 25% to ensure supply chain resilience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or commodity management, specializing in PCB/A, FPGA, or related electronic interconnect technologies.
• Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of PCBAs with over 30 suppliers and budgets upwards of $5M.
• Experience developing supplier strategies including technology evaluation, qualification, negotiations, and long‑term relationships for PCB/FPGA components.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to influence PCB stack‑up designs and material choices to improve manufacturability and supply chain robustness.
• Identify supply chain risks and devise mitigation strategies across complex hardware portfolios.
• Excellent communication skills in conveying sourcing strategies and program updates to technical and business stakeholders.
• Assess and benchmark manufacturing technologies and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing decisions.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the why and what of sourcing strategy across core product areas (satellite, terrestrial networks, developer platform).
• Translate strategic goals into clear product plans and deliverables for engineering, design, and customer teams.
• Lead execution across hardware, firmware, software, and customer success to ensure timely, cost‑effective supply and manufacturing readiness.
