Ladders is seeking a Global Commodity Manager for PCBA and related hardware components in a remote role. You will own strategic sourcing, supplier management, and risk mitigation across a broad vendor base to support high-priority hardware programs in a fast-moving technical environment.

Collaborate with engineering and design teams to improve manufacturability, strengthen supply continuity, and drive supplier strategy. Strong communication with stakeholders will be essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in strategic sourcing or supply chain, PCB/FPGA focus.
• Experience managing supplier portfolios with budgets over $5M.
• Proven ability to develop and implement supplier strategies.
• Collaborates with hardware teams to optimize PCB designs for manufacturability.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Global Commodity Manager - PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will own strategic sourcing and supplier management for complex printed circuit board assemblies and related hardware components. The position partners closely with engineering and design teams to improve manufacturability, strengthen supply continuity, and support high-priority hardware programs in a fast-moving technical environment. It will also drive supplier strategy, risk mitigation, and performance tracking across a broad vendor base.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $128,000 – $165,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing execution for core hardware programs, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
• Partner with engineering, design, and customer-facing teams to turn complex requirements into actionable plans.
• Manage changes effectively while maintaining clarity on deliverables and priorities.
