Job summary

Sol de Janeiro seeks a Director of Commercialization to lead strategy, governance, and cross-functional execution for its portfolio from concept to readiness.

You will partner with Regulatory, Product Development, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance to enable timely launches and scalable capabilities across markets. This is a senior, global role based in New York with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercialization, product development, program management, or related cross-functional leadership.
• Experience leading complex product commercialization programs in beauty/cosmetics or consumer goods.
• Demonstrated portfolio management across concurrent initiatives.
• Strong executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management.
• Understanding end-to-end product lifecycle, regulatory, sourcing, and manufacturing dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercialization strategy and governance for the portfolio.
• Serve as central business and operational leader across multiple functions.
• Ensure concepts move through commercialization readiness with clear priorities and timelines.
• Balance speed with regulatory, operational, and resource constraints across a dynamic portfolio.
• Drive cross-functional readiness and governance for market entry programs.
