Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a visionary Vice President, Global Commercial to architect and lead a global commercial operating system, enabling consistent, high-quality execution across regions. This executive role defines how we run commercial globally, translating growth strategy into repeatable processes that drive productivity and sustainable expansion.

You will partner with Finance, HR, Sales Leadership and Regions to design standards, governance and analytics.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in commercial operations, commercial excellence, sales leadership, revenue operations, sales enablement, or go-to-market strategy.
• Demonstrated success designing and scaling commercial operating models in large, complex global organizations.
• Proven ability to build playbooks, governance frameworks, performance systems, and commercial processes that drive measurable business impact.
• Experience leading enterprise transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong partnership experience with Finance and HR/Total Rewards related to quota planning, sales compensation, and performance management.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Own the global commercial playbook system and establish standards, processes, governance, and tools.
• Drive selling time, field execution, and enablement programs.
• Lead global quota planning and sales incentive governance.
• Partner with Finance and HR/Total Rewards for compliant execution.
• Define standard work for forecasting, pipeline reviews, planning, and performance management.
• Build global KPI dashboards and analytics standards.
• Align Americas, EMEA, and APAC around common operating standards.
• Lead enterprise-wide commercial productivity initiatives.
• Sponsor Lean and continuous improvement programs.
