Job summary

Smurfit Westrock seeks a Manager, Technical Services (Color Management) to lead color management, print quality, and process control across 30+ facilities. You will drive Global Color Excellence, standardize workflows, and mentor site teams while collaborating with North American Prepress, Operations and Sales.

Travel up to 50%—primarily in the US and Canada—with some international duties. A technical degree and 5+ years in color management are required to develop and sustain competitive color

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in color management and related technical services.
• Expertise in color management, G7, ECG and print quality systems.
• Experience with assessments, gap analyses, and improvement planning.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence change.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and continuous improvement of the Global Color Excellence program.
• Develop and maintain color management standards, print quality specs, measurement methods and SOPs.
• Conduct facility assessments and gap analyses to improve print quality and consistency.
• Provide technical leadership to facilities, customers, and internal teams.
• Lead root-cause analyses and corrective actions for color performance issues.
