Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; five to seven years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading printing or manufacturing operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of color control, lamination, and press maintenance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Train employees on printing operations and color control.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance.
• Oversee presses and laminators to meet quality standards.
• Lead lean improvement projects and optimize production hours.
• Attend daily scheduling and design review meetings.
• Investigate delays and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor run times, waste, downtime and readiness of dates.
• Ensure safety programs and procedures are followed.
• Support new product development and cost controls.
• Travel for vendor or customer meetings as needed.
