Job summary

Cornerstone OnDemand seeks a Collection Manager to oversee the daily operations of the collections department, manage a team of collection agents, and set performance targets to optimize debt recovery.

The role requires developing strategies to improve collection processes, ensuring policy and regulatory compliance, and reporting to senior management. Collaboration with Sales, Account Management, and QTC functions is essential to resolve payment issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field.
• 5-8 years in Accounts Receivable, Credit Collections, or related finance function.
• Minimum 3 years leading a collections team.
• Experience in multinational/Shared Service Centre (SSC), Global Business Services (GBS) or BPO environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of collection specialists.
• Monitor performance targets for the team and ensure goals are met.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle escalated customer issues and provide excellent service to stakeholders.
• Analyze collection data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies.
• Prepare and present regular reports on team performance to senior management.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates and processes.
• Build relationships with Sales, Account Management, QTC and other functions to resolve payment issues.
