GibbsCAM, part of the Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions family, is seeking a Visionary Global Manager, CNC Post Development to lead a worldwide team and shape the strategy, capabilities, and customer experience behind one of CAM software's most critical components.

The role requires strong leadership across geographies and deep CNC post-processing expertise, with travel up to 30% to support initiatives and customers globally.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience managing technical or engineering teams in a global environment.
• Deep expertise in CNC machining, CNC programming, G-code, and post-processing technologies.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools, digital workflows, and software-driven manufacturing ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Define the global strategy for CNC post development, validation, and support.
• Set technical standards ensuring quality, consistency, and scalability.
• Lead teams working on multi-axis, mill-turn, Swiss-type, and complex kinematics.
• Act as executive escalation point for high-impact technical challenges.
• Explore AI-driven development and automation to enhance performance and value.
• Lead, coach, and develop globally distributed technical teams.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and regional leadership.
• Translate market needs into scalable technical capabilities.
• Drive service delivery, customer satisfaction, and KPI-driven performance.
• Ensure alignment with future business growth and tech evolution.
