GibbsCAM, part of the Sandvik Group, seeks a Global Manager, CNC Post Development to lead a worldwide team driving post-processing strategy and advanced CNC technologies. The role reports to the GibbsCAM President and offers flexible location with up to 30% international travel.

You will define vision for CNC post development, set technical standards, and collaborate across Product Management, Sales, and regional leadership to deliver scalable, customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience managing technical or engineering teams in a global environment.
• Deep expertise in CNC machining, CNC programming, G-code, and post-processing technologies.
• Broad understanding of modern manufacturing processes and machine behavior.

Responsibilities

• Define the global vision for CNC post development and drive strategy.
• Set technical standards ensuring quality, consistency, and scalability.
• Guide teams working on advanced CNC technologies (multi-axis, mill-turn, Swiss-type, complex kinematics).
• Serve as executive escalation point for high-impact technical challenges.
• Explore AI-driven development and automation to enhance performance and value.
• Lead, coach, and develop globally distributed technical teams.
• Attract and retain top technical talent and foster accountability and collaboration.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and regional leaders.
• Translate market opportunities into scalable technical capabilities and KPIs.
