Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and operate large-scale cloud networks for OCI regions. You will drive automation efforts, coordinate engineers, and provide technical SME guidance across teams to deliver reliable backbone, data center fabrics, and interconnects.

The role emphasizes deep networking protocol knowledge, and programming for automation at scale, with global coverage and complex multi-cloud connectivity responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience in large ISP or cloud provider environments is required.
• Strong Python automation skills and datacenter design knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead network lifecycle programs with clear objectives and milestones.
• Coordinate multiple engineers and advise project managers across leadership.
• Serve as SME in cross-functional activities and complex network designs.
• Develop automation scripts and support monitoring/automation systems.
• Provide incident escalation for large-scale network events and root cause analysis.
