Job summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager to independently lead global clinical trials across phases I–IV, coordinating with CROs, vendors, and sites to ensure successful study execution. The role emphasizes operational excellence, risk mitigation, and inspection readiness.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of clinical operations experience in biotech/pharma, with a strong background in ICH-GCP and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field required.
• 5–7 years of progressive clinical trial operations experience.
• Experience independently managing Phase I–IV trials and CRO/vendor collaboration.
• Therapeutic experience in metabolic disease, hepatology, or related areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational management of global clinical trials (Phases I–IV).
• Serve as primary operational lead for assigned studies, ensuring milestones, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Oversee start-up, maintenance, close-out, and inspection readiness activities with minimal supervision.
• Develop, review, and finalize key study documents and TMF/eTMF readiness.
• Mentor junior Clinical Operations staff and drive process improvements.
