Job summary

Motion is seeking a Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the global information security program, shaping strategy, governance, and risk management across the organization. This executive will report to the senior management team and the Board, ensuring security maturity while enabling business initiatives.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity or a related field and fifteen (15) or more years of related experience in a publicly traded company.
• Master’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and executes the strategic direction of Motion’s ISS, IAM, Cyber Defense Sec Services/Engineering, and GRC in collaboration with company leadership.
• Continuously matures Motion’s enterprise ISS operating model, including security strategy, governance, architecture, cyber defense, identity, GRC, third-party risk, application security, data protection, privacy, and incident response.
• Creates enterprise-wide risk prioritization linking cyber remediation to business impact, regulatory exposure and resilience requirements.
• Defines and governs security requirements for AI-enabled capabilities, including data leakage prevention and vendor risk.
• Coordinates with legal and law enforcement as required; drives modernization of identity and access controls; supports M&A diligence and integration.
