Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Vice President Cybersecurity (CISO) to lead its global security program. You will own enterprise cyber risk, oversee security operations, and drive secure development across IT, OT, and product domains.

Reporting to the CIO, you will partner with executives to align strategy with business outcomes, shape governance, and manage a multi-year roadmap that reduces risk while enabling growth across an industrial manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 15 years in cybersecurity with at least 10 in senior leadership roles.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments, including OT/ICS and product security.
• Experience presenting to Boards and executive leadership, cyber risk reporting and incident communications.
• Proven ability to lead global security teams and programs with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define a multi-year cybersecurity strategy aligned to business goals.
• Own product security for Generac’s connected products and IoT ecosystems.
• Oversee IT/OT convergence, incident response, and risk management across global ops.
• Represent cybersecurity to Board, regulators, and customers.
