Job summary

Paxos seeks a Head of Communications to lead Paxos’ global communications strategy across executive, corporate, policy, internal and product communications. This leader will own how Paxos shows up with the media, regulators, partners, and employees, re-establishing our presence in key conversations while supporting a highly regulated, global business.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in communications with senior leadership in tech/fintech/financial services.
• Experience across executive, corporate, policy/regulatory, internal and product comms.
• Proven ability to manage press and media relations and to define and execute brand plans.
• Track record partnering with C-level leaders as a trusted voice.
• Experience at fintech or banks; crypto-native preferred but not required.
• Strong relationships with finance/crypto reporters; capable across US and international markets.
• Extroverted, humble with strong discussion and recommendation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a long-term, global communications strategy across executive, corporate, policy, internal and product narratives.
• Lead media and press relations to restore Paxos’ presence in key financial and crypto outlets.
• Own internal and executive communications with stakeholders around high-stakes topics and milestones.
• Advise the CEO and executive team, shaping narratives and options on strategy and execution.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance content development, research and measurement.
• Coordinate external agencies and cross-functional partners to deliver on-message communications globally.
