Job summary

MS Transverse is hiring for a senior communications leader to develop and drive an integrated corporate communications strategy that aligns with our brand, mission and business goals. You will partner with C-suite executives to ensure consistent messaging across all functions, while managing budgets and vendor relationships.

The role requires leading crisis communications, shaping media engagement, internal communications, and external brand presence across digital channels and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related discipline, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Prior experience working within an insurance organization is required (carrier, reinsurer, MGA, broker, or related insurance/financial services entity).
• Demonstrated track record managing complex media relationships and driving earned media coverage at a national or global scale.
• Proven experience leading crisis communications, including developing response protocols and managing high-stakes situations under pressure.

• Partner with senior executives to align messaging across all functions, ensuring consistency and clarity throughout the organization.
• Manage communications budget, third party relationships and vendor contracts to maximize efficiency and impact.
• Proactively identify reputational risks, develop mitigation strategies and advise leadership on sensitive communications matters.
• Manage communications during regulatory, legal, or operational incidents to protect the organization’s reputation and stakeholder trust.
