Job summary

Rite-Hite Corporation in Wisconsin seeks a Global Category Manager to lead category management across Product Business Units. You will drive end-to-end sourcing, manage supplier relationships, and develop category strategies to optimize cost, quality, and resilience.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or supply chain, 8+ years in procurement, strong analytical, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Operations or related field; master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management experience with responsibility for large-scale, complex, or global categories.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and manage diverse categories; proficiency in data analysis and procurement tools.
• Proven ability to assess, negotiate, and manage suppliers effectively; strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned global category spend of $40M-$60M with a focus on cost optimization, quality, and supply chain resilience.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities (RFI, RFQ, RFP) for assigned materials, products, and services.
• Oversee supplier relationship management, continuity of supply, risk mitigation, and negotiations; support NPI through MP.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and business unit Procurement to ensure supplier qualification and performance.
