Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Global Category Lead - Value & Access, Associate Director to shape procurement strategy for Value & Access in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech sector. This remote role partners with Finance to strengthen sourcing decisions, improve OPEX productivity, and support GTN performance.

You will build governance, create multi-year category plans, and develop supplier ecosystems to deliver measurable business impact across geographies.

Qualifications

• Experience leading procurement in Value & Access or Market Access within biotech or pharma.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Global Category Lead - Value & Access, Associate Director to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will lead procurement category strategy for Value & Access, with a focus on supplier capabilities, market dynamics, and stakeholder alignment across the business. You will partner closely with Finance and cross-functional teams to strengthen sourcing decisions, improve OPEX productivity, and support GTN performance. The position calls for a strategic category leader who can build governance, shape supplier ecosystems, and drive adoption of initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $148,638 – $201,099 annually

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or Master's with 5 years, or Bachelor's with 7 years, or Associate's with 12 years, or high school diploma with 14 years of experience in business partnering or marketing
• Proven procurement experience in Value & Access or Market Access within biotech or pharma
• Strong understanding of pricing, reimbursement, and market access dynamics
• Demonstrated financial acumen including budget management and supplier economics
• Experience developing multi-year category strategies
