Job summary

EML Payments Solutions Ltd (EPSL) Overland Park, Kansas, United States seeks a Card and Payments Operations Manager to own day-to-day operations across Visa, Mastercard and the payments ecosystem. This hands-on role blends problem solving with governance and cross-functional delivery, coordinating with Technology, Product, Compliance and external partners through go-live and BAU handover.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of prepaid and debit card programs and transactions.
• Deep understanding of card networks, BINs and programme requirements.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating outcomes.
• Project management with focus on execution and improvement.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Clear, confident communication with partners and internal teams.
• Calm, practical, solutions-focused approach under tight deadlines.
• Experience in global payments environments and regulatory contexts.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations, reporting and requirements for Visa and Mastercard as escalation point.
• Ensure compliance with scheme rules and mandatory change programmes.
• Support BIN setup, programme configuration and lifecycle management.
• Track scheme performance and operational risk with clear KPIs for leadership.
• Lead readiness for launches, integrations and migrations through to go-live and BAU.
• Manage escalations and incidents with card schemes and payment partners.
• Support partner governance, including service reviews and SLA reporting.
• Define payment processes aligned with scheme/regulatory standards and oversee audits.
• Contribute to scheme and regulator-driven projects.
• Coach and develop junior colleagues and build team capability.
