Job summary

EML Payments is seeking a Payment Operations Manager to own day-to-day activity across Visa, Mastercard and our wider payments ecosystem. You will be the expert on card scheme matters, including settlement currencies, BIN management, and incident resolution, while guiding governance and change programs.

You will lead cross-functional delivery with Technology, Product, Compliance and external partners, ensuring compliance with scheme rules and regulatory standards and driving performance through

Qualifications

• Experience with prepaid and debit products and transaction flows.
• Solid knowledge of BIN management and card scheme requirements.
• Vendor or relationship management experience with negotiation skills.
• Operational project management with focus on execution and improvement.
• Ability to lead cross-functional delivery without direct authority.
• Clear, confident communication with partners and internal teams.
• Experience in global payments across different regulatory contexts.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations, reporting and requirements for Visa and Mastercard.
• Ensure compliance with scheme rules and mandatory change programmes.
• Support BIN setup and programme lifecycle management.
• Track scheme performance and build KPIs for leadership visibility.
• Lead operational readiness for launches, integrations and migrations.
• Manage escalations and incidents with card schemes and partners.
• Support partner governance with SLA reporting and action tracking.
• Define payment processes aligned with standards and oversee audits.
