Job summary

Chemours is seeking a Project Manager to join our Capital Execution team. This role leads large and small capital projects worldwide, reporting to the Senior Manager - Capital Projects, and emphasizes safety, quality, and innovation across sites.

Location flexibility exists with preferred proximity to headquarters in Wilmington, DE or Philadelphia, PA for close collaboration. The PM will oversee design, procurement, construction, controls, estimating, documentation, and contractor oversight from

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years managing capital projects.
• Minimum 3 years working in a chemical plant environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of field construction or contract management.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing capital projects in the $1M-$20M range.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in working with engineering/design contractors.
• Experience using project scheduling software.
• Proficiency with MS Office

Responsibilities

• Identify project team resources and secure staffing.
• Ensure all team members understand roles, responsibilities and deliverables.
• Establish effective communications with stakeholders.
• Lead front-end loading: scopes, estimates, funding, schedule, and design basis.
• Proactively drive project scope, cost, schedule and resources.
• Identify deliverables and ensure timely completion with quality.
• Manage scope changes and budgets per policy.
• Drive project processes per the Chemours Project System.
• Lead risk identification/mitigation and problem-solving sessions.
• Ensure design standards are followed with internal/external resources
