Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Capital Project Procurement Leader to support capital project delivery and category management, focusing on automation, construction, engineering, and capital equipment in the US and Puerto Rico. The role collaborates with the Global Manufacturing Procurement Capital & Infrastructure team to drive value and minimize supply risk.

Ideal candidates will lead mega projects, manage supplier relationships, and develop cost-saving sourcing strategies, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Business related field.
• 7 or more years in major capital project experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Category management for engineering, construction services, automation, and capital equipment.
• Oversee supplier due diligence, RFP, contract negotiation and award.
• Negotiate to minimize costs and risk while meeting project objectives.
• Collaborate with business clients on supplier qualification, spend analysis, and risk management.
• Source for major capital projects (>$100MM) at Lilly’s global sites with annual spend of $100MM–$300MM.
