Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Leader in Global Procurement to develop and drive category management strategies for the Capital Expenditures Equipment category. You will manage high‑value spend, up to $600 million, and collaborate with global stakeholders to reduce cost, mitigate risk, and improve working capital while meeting business and customer expectations.

In this role you will lead cross‑functional teams, craft multi‑year strategies, and apply advanced negotiation and SRM practices to deliver value

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 10+ years of strategic procurement, or relevant technical / business leadership experience, and at least 3 years related product experience.
• Professional certification from related professional body desired.
• Substantial experience with ability to demonstrate success.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi‑year procurement strategy across the Capital Expenditures Equipment category.
• Guide and align project stakeholders, delivering multiple outputs on time.
• Engage global stakeholders to leverage a global supply base and drive best practices.
• Develop negotiation strategies and contracts terms with suppliers.
• Identify risk, implement mitigation, and optimize total cost of ownership.
• Drive cost-out opportunities and working capital improvements.
