Job summary

Amcor is seeking a procurement professional to support the execution of purchasing functions across all Amcor sites. You will handle indirect materials and services within global, national, or regional purchasing agreements, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize local procurement strategies.

You will coordinate RFQs, monitor supplier pricing, and work with operations to ensure cost-effective, timely material flow.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in business-related area required; bachelor’s in business preferred.
• Experience in procurement/supply chain capacity highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute local procurement strategies and supplier relationships.
• Manage requisition-to-pay processes and ordering.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes in line with Global Procurement standards.
• Coordinate RFQ processes and determine best total cost of ownership.
• Monitor pricing and interface with other departments for material/services selection.
• Assist with resolving supplier issues related to cost, quality, and delivery.
• Identify cost take-out opportunities and share with Amcor Global Procurement.
